The Story

When a municipality must decide how to deliver water and sanitation services, internally, through a public
partnership, or via the private sector, it requires rigorous, evidence-based analysis. Ntiyiso Industrialisation
Consulting conducted a Section 78 Assessment for Dr. Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality,
evaluating the most feasible service delivery mechanism against a backdrop of groundwater scarcity, aging
infrastructure, and constrained municipal finances.

alignment, this engagement gave DRRSMDM a clear, credible path to improved water access for its
communities.
